PERFORMER:

Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Rory Gordon began his life-long love of the guitar at the early age of six. Rory is a former student of nationally renowned music producer, director, and performer Rob Mathes, and has been a band member of Breakaway which served as Davy Jones' back up and road band in the early 1990s, Leslie Costa and the Usual Suspects, Mike Milazzo and Broken Arrow, The Newcomers, The Staff, and Richard Keith & The Occasional Playboys. Rory continues to perform with many of those groups and in addition is a current member in 3 Car Garage, The Clams, Cooked Up, and Hey Baby.

Rory also plays for recording sessions and performs as a band guest, and a solo performer throughout southern CT and the NYC Metro and Tri-State area.

Rory has performed nationally with Davy Jones and Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees, Gary U.S. Bonds, the Coasters, the Crystals, and Gene Chandler among others, appearing on stage, TV, and live radio.

INSTRUCTOR:

A respected instructor as well as performer, Rory has been teaching students to play guitar for over 35 years. His courses are tailored to student's individual level and goals. Rory provides private and group instruction, in-person or virtual.
